Project engineer - Industrial switchboards

Your mission

As part of its growth, BelgoTech is looking for an Project Engineer for industrial electrical panels. The Project Engineer follows up industrial customer requests.

About BelgoTech

Belgotech is a leading company in the field of electrical switchboards. The 35-strong company, based in Villers-Le-Bouillet, manufactures switchboards for industrial customers that are installed worldwide (export).

Your challenge

As a project engineer, you will study our customers' technical solutions and draw up quotations. In this context, your responsibilities are as follows :

• Making contact following a customer request
• Analysis of requirements and solution design
• Drawing up a quotation for the proposed solution
• Dimensioning and production of any drawings if required
• Updating quotations in line with customer feedback, and answering questions about the quotation.
• Follow-up on implementation (technical, administrative, financial).
• Monitor customer satisfaction.

Your profile

• You have an industrial engineering degree, with a diploma in electricity or electromechanics, or equivalent experience;
• You are able to follow up customer requests, both technically and administratively;
• You are autonomous and a good manager;
• You are customer-oriented;
• Empathy and emotional intelligence are required (the job requires you to be able to adapt your verbal and written communication to suit the people involved);
• You are fluent in French and English; Dutch is an additional asset;
• Previous experience in the field (electricity, dimensioning, etc.) is an asset.

• Standards for industrial electrical installations
• Electrical distribution circuits dimensioning
• Busbar sizing
• Cable sizing
• Motor feeders sizing
• Knowledge of programmable logic controllers
• Knowledge of industrial communications networks
• Knowledge of frequency drives
• Knowledge of SoftStarter
• Export projects (worldwide)

Expected experience :

Design and manufacture of industrial switchboards

• TGBT (low-voltage general switchboard)
• Motor start control panel (MCC) Direct start, 2 directions, Star-delta, Soft Starter, Variable frequency drive,
• Process control panels (OCC): PLC panels, Remote I/O acquisition panels,

Design and production of industrial pneumatic cabinets

• Remote cabinets with pneumatic circuits

Design and construction of industrial electrical installations

• Installation and connection of electrical cabinets at customer sites
• Instrumentation sizing studies, hardware definition
• Cable tray sizing studies
• Cable sizing studies
• Site supervision
